Harry is a professional chef with over two decades of experience in fast-paced kitchens, leading teams across busy services, and catering large-scale off-site events, ranging in scale from 20 to 1000 people. It’s fair to say, that he lives and breathes food prep, service and entertaining.

When not working in the restaurant kitchen, Harry enjoys… cooking. But not just at home, where he is often slow-cooking beef cheeks or pork shoulder in his Kamado Joe; He caters his girls’ birthday party’s in the park (they are epic); orchestrates deluxe camp-fire feasts under the stars for groups of friends over the open flame (also epic); and loves to pack a picnic dinner and sundowners with the family at their fave local beach.

But on these occasions outside of the kitchen, Harry never felt equipped enough to deliver the food at the standard he wanted. Yeah, he could cheat and bring in the pro stuff from his commercial kitchen. But this over-shot the mark. The makeshift options were always limiting and not fit for purpose - wrestling with top-opening eskies, fighting off insects, attempting to time multiple dishes on a single campfire, or watching perfectly cooked food go cold between home and serving on location.

Harry realised that others faced the same frustrations - loved good food, wanted to bring it, share it or cook it outside - but found it difficult to transport, keep it temperature controlled, or time the service right to maintain the quality.

And so, Tucka Tribe was formed. Our driving force is to empower people with the right tools to bring your culinary creations to any setting, wherever the adventure takes you!

We are a small, Australian, family business but we have big plans. Food is at the heart of our family, it always has been. We are never not planning the next ‘food event’. This is sometimes a meal at a great restaurant, but more often it is a meal prepared together - or separately, and then shared together! It is our source of connection and joy. We hope we can spread more of this as we build Tucka Tribe.
